I try but I failed
like the cartoon whale
that greets visitors
on a popular site
I tried eye contact
but with sunglasses
I giggled and batted my lashes
I touched elbows
and squeezed knees
trying to trick her in giving a smile
to give me energy to try for a while
longer or at least ponder
my chances of advancing
pass round 1 of this game
Well, curling is done. I'm sad. Those two teams representing Canada better bring home the gold. Boo-urns to my teams. Peace out.
